Cookie Notice
This notice explains the small amount of local storage and cookies Avenra uses. We keep this deliberately minimal: the essentials needed to keep you signed in and secure, plus optional analytics that stay off until you turn them on.

1. Overview
We use two categories of storage: strictly-necessary items that make the platform work, and optional analytics that require your consent. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
2. Strictly-necessary cookies
- Session cookie — a secure, HttpOnly cookie that keeps you signed in after you authenticate. It is essential and cannot be switched off while you are logged in.
- Theme preference (
avenra-theme) — a local-storage value remembering whether you chose light or dark mode. - Analytics consent (
avenra-analytics-consent) — a local-storage value remembering your analytics choice so we do not ask again.
3. Optional analytics
If — and only if — you opt in, we use PostHog to understand how public search and the professional journey are used. Analytics is off by default. When enabled it runs with autocapture disabled, session recording disabled, and in-memory persistence, and we never send addresses, verification evidence, tokens, or contact details.
4. No advertising cookies
Avenra does not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or third-party cross-site trackers, and we do not sell your data.
5. How to manage your choices
You can change your analytics choice at any time using the Privacy settings control in the footer of every page. You can also clear local storage in your browser settings. For the wider picture of how we handle personal data, see our Privacy Notice.
